The Chileans WEIGHT OF EMPTINESS have been consolidated each year as one of the main bands in their country and with great ascension throughout South America. In 2021, the band was awarded the "Escuchar" award (one of the most important in Chilean independent music) for Best Extreme Metal Album, with the album "Conquering The Deep Cycle" (released in 2019).
Bringing a powerful Progressive Death Doom, the band has snatched fans wherever it goes and soon after announcing that their new album was finished (still no release date), the band has just announced their new tour, which will take place in August , September and October by Argentina, Brazil and Peru respectively.
In Brazil, Weight of Emptiness will play 3 shows, in the cities of São Paulo (23/09 at C.I.A.M.), Jandira (24/09 at Caveira Velha) and in São José dos Campos (25/09 at Hocus Pocus Studio). Soon the bands that will accompany the Chileans in each show will be announced, as well as purchasing tickets for the shows.
