This Saturday, February 6, the band EROS, one of the great representatives of Brazilian Thrash Metal, will releases the new single "Judgment Day". The release of the single will take place on the program "Clube do Rock" on FM 87.9 radio, in the city of Campos / RJ.
"Judgment Day" was born from the observation of the behavior of humanity. A lot of radicalism, racism, feminicide, intolerance, insane snipers, aggression against children, in short, all kinds of atrocities happening and being naturalized as if they were normal things.
The song features the participation of the talented Bruna Rocha, singer of the band Revengin. About Bruna's participation, Themys (vocalist, guitarist and founder of the band) comments:
"This broth of foolishness and irrationality made me think of that lyrics. It is a form of alert and at the same time a regret. In this context of regret, the music would have to portray all this sadness. That was when I heard the voice of vocalist Bruna Rocha. Her voice is a true instrument: lyrical, firm, powerful and especially with a lot of interpretation.
Therefore, the music needed a climate where Bruna's voice and interpretation stood out. The sequence of chords where she soles were made with the angelic voice in mind, capable of touching the soul of those who listen".
The cover art of the single was made by designer Rômulo Dias from São Paulo. The art is the prelude to what will be the context of the next EROS album, where it is depicted the content of the lyrics, in which a portal with sculptures is observed, portraying the violence of the current world, as well as the death portrayed around the headstone that bears the name of the song.
"The characters are those who will appear in the songs and in the stories that will be told in the lyrics of the next album, and the character who will not be in the context of the stories is the lady. This is a tribute to Bruna Rocha who is our guest with her participation in the song. We were very happy with her participation and the final result" - emphasizes Themys.
