Setfire is ready to set the stage on fire again! Right after a period of auditions and search for the position of the band's new bassist, Setfire is pleased to announce that Lucas Bernardes is the newest member of the Setfire family!

Lucas grew up in the city of Tatuí, in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil, began playing as a self-taught man, until he joined the Conservatory of Tatuí, the largest in all of Latin America.

In 2012, he began his studies on classical acoustic double bass, only 1 year and a half later, he was already invited to perform in "Sagração da Primavera" by Stravinsky, a work famous in the symphonic repertoire for its complexity. Then, he wined scholarship at the same institution, participating in the Symphonic Band and tutoring in educational groups at the Conservatory, always as head of suit or concertmaster. Professionally, he was the head of the orchestra of the Symphonic Orchestra of Botucatu during the 2015 season, conducted by conductor Dario Sotelo.

From 2016, he dedicates himself exclusively to electric bass, where he could also express his passion for Metal, including joining the Power Metal band, "Enorion" and recording their first album, to be released. In addition to integrating to Setfire, Lucas maintains his own YouTube channel, with performances from the various faces of Metal.

Some of the main influences of Lucas are Jaco Pastorius, Sérgio Frigério, Steve Harris, Victor Wooten, Steve DiGiorgio, Felipe Andreoli and Ricardinho Paraíso.
